webgoat !?

hi ,
i downloaded last release OWASP-WTE-Live-CD-Beta.iso , and runing in virtual box , but didnt find any place for webgoat !? in this release webgoat removed !?

WebGoat and WTE

Unfortunately, you have discovered the reason I kept the "beta" on WTE. WebGoat is currently not installed on WTE but is in the previous release (AppSecEU May 2009).
There are two issues I'm having are

  • I was trying to use the default Ubuntu Tomcat instead of bundling it with WebGoat
  • The WebGoat Manager I wrote for the previous release is for KDE which is less thatn optimal for Ubuntu/Gnome.

 
Add to that a change in jobs and things have not progreessed as fast as I'd have liked.  I'm planning on finishing out WTE with WebGoat after BlackHat and DefCon which are next week.  After that, I should have some breathing room to actually get WebGoat and a few other things added to WTE.
